She has won awards for her short films and performances, appeared in feature films and queer prxn, exhibited explicit whore-positive work in squats and the SFMOMA, and shown her cervix internationally. She writes, presents workshops, and speaks publicly on topics of s///xuality, gender, intimacy, fertility, shame, feminism, kink, queer parenthood and s///x work. Award for the best feature length fiction film (>40 min.).
Of all shorts that make it into the shorts competition program one film will be awarded as the best of this competition.
Award for the best documentary feature length film in the festival (>40 min.).
This new award will go to the best lesbian short film (< 40 min.) to put a focus on underrepresented lesbian/dyke desire and sexuality and its many aspects far beyond any common porn clichès.
A new award for the best short or feature lenght film that puts age and the special conditions of older people and their desire in focus as well as age difference in sexual relationships and body positivity related to bodies of all ages.
To encourage film makers to focus on diversity in ethnicity and cultural background and to promote the visibility of people of color, their sexuality and wide range of bodies and sexual identities this award will be for the best short that addresses the sexual reality of people of color.
This award celebrates experimental, amateur and home-movies that elevate or re-invent the ‘self-shot’ genre. The ways we connect intimately and express intimacy has adapted to the state of the world we’re living in. We want to see clever, exciting and entertaining videos that put a twist on everything from the ‘selfie-solo’ to the OnlyFans roommate sessions.
