Workshop: Eros LifeDrawing
S*MAC Forum, 90 Min.
Mit: Calita Fire
Note: this workshop is in English.
Eros LifeDrawing is an erotic life drawing event, founded by and modeled by porn performers. Artist, porn performer, and lifedrawing enthusiast Calita Fire created this initiative to combine her passions of the arts and sexuality.
Artists and sex workers have an established relationship. There is a long history of the sex worker as muse across many disciplines of the arts. Our bodies and stories feature in countless paintings, photos, and films. It is important for Calita that this is founded, modeled, and hosted by those who work in the sex industry, aiming to create a dynamic of mutuality and reclaim artistic spaces by taking agency.
At Eros LifeDrawing, the model(s) will pose in a variety of sensual and erotic poses, giving those who come to draw a perspective not usually found in traditional life drawing sessions. In the final, extended pose, the model may share their experience in the industry in an informal chat with the host, a candid insight to demystify and destigmatize our world.
All levels are welcome, beginner friendly.
