The festival has started and once more we are looking forward to an intense week with many nice visitors and diverse films! You can find the timetable here.

We are showing films at Movimento and Babylon Kreuzberg (box office opening 16:30, Sunday 15:00, partly wheelchair accessible), there are exhibitions at Moviemento and SomoS, as well as panel discussions and after the films our festival lounge and parties await you…

On 11 December 2019 at 18:00 Moviemento shows the winner of the Pornfilmfestival Berlin 2018 – Las Hijas del Fuego.

RAW! UNCUT! VIDEO! is a documentary in post-production about Jack Fritscher’s iconic fetish porn studio, Palm Drive Video. The film explores the importance of kink and sexual cultures during the AIDS crisis in the 1980s and 90s. To date, the project has been entirely funded through community support. We are nearly finished, but are in need of critical funds to complete the editing and post-production (e.g. Editing fees, Sound Mixing, Color Grading). On October 26^th and 27^th 2019 Pornfilmfestival Berlin will show the film with English subtitles. Tickets will be available from October 1^st 2019 on the website of the Moviemento and also through the program.

Jonathan Agassi is one of the most successful gay porn stars in the world. Director Tomer Heymann followed him for eight years, both in his temporary hometown of Berlin and with his mother in Tel Aviv, in his Israeli homeland. Although Jonathan claims he has the best job in the world and says that it actually saved his life, it soon becomes clear that he is not particularly happy. Afflicted by childhood traumas, Jonathan seems casual in the execution of the countless acts of sex with which he earns his living. But he increasingly uses hard drugs to numb his feelings. Finally, he is forced to see the harsh reality of his extreme lifestyle. A rare and intimate look into the world of porn and escorts, as well as the touching portrait of a unique mother-son relationship that redefines familiar family norms.

As supporting film we will show “Pizza Roles” by Danny Tayara & Ari Chivukula (US 2017, 5 minutes, Englisch original version).
