The Story of Joanna

PFFB classics, US 1975, 87 min., engl. OV + engl. UT

By: Gerard Damiano Sr.

With: Jamie Gillis, Terri Hall, Zebedy Colt, Juliet Graham, Steven Lark

Jason has already awakened from the dream of perfect love while Joanna searches for something more honest. She believes in romance; he believes in physical gratification. Joanna is seduced by his dominance and drifts between desire, fulfilment, and nightmare. Can sex become love when one surrenders completely to another? Her love for Jason deepens with every challenge, yet his final wish forces her to confront the seemingly impossible.

Stirring music, iconic close-ups, and bisexual excellence: Gerard Damiano Sr.’s still-provocative cult film shines in a restored 4K print more than ever, where sex and cinematic art meet in this jewel of the Porno Chic movement.
