Studio in Focus: Ersties

In focus

For over 15 years, Ersties has been building a library of real bodies, real desire and real connection, created almost entirely by women. What started as amateur content featuring women together or with their partners has grown into one of Europe’s most recognizable independent studios, with a catalog that feels closer to documentary than to mainstream porn. The approach has always been the same: let the women in front of the camera shape what happens. No scripts, no performed orgasms. The result is an archive that captures sexuality as it actually looks, across body types, ages, and dynamics that rarely make it to screen elsewhere. More recently, Ersties has pushed into wilder formats: game shows like Tinder in Real Life and Pop the Balloon, outdoor shoots, Truth or Dare sessions, large-scale orgies. They run a YouTube channel, produced a podcast, and keep finding new ways to bring their mix of curiosity and candor to new audiences. At the Pornfilmfestival, Ersties presents a best-of selection and takes you behind the scenes of how they pull it all off.
