Lola sets out to create a film about happiness and love in all their forms. But as her encounters fall apart and reality refuses to follow her vision, she finds herself chasing a dream that keeps slipping away — until she meets Penelope.

She introduces her to the House of Better Men, a place imagined and created by women exploring the transformation of masculinity as a path toward social change. Together, Lola and her team are drawn into a joyful, inventive whirlwind where music, dance, and unexpected adventures become a way to question love, desire, and the possibility of collective happiness.

Blending musical cinema with feminist reflection, A Summer Chronicle transforms songs and movement into a celebration of freedom, intimacy, and connection.
