Inspired by the life of Czech high diver Andrea Absolonová, this professionally produced feature film tells the story of identity, self-determination and autonomy. Absolonová, played very convincingly by Natalia Germani, was nominated as a member of the Czech national team for the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta. However, a spinal injury put an early end to her career as an athlete, so she decided to make a career as an actress in the erotic industry. Without judgment, “Her Body” shows the similarities and differences of everyday life both as a professional athlete and as a porn actress and places self-determination over one’s own body at the center of the story.
