Trans* narratives are always an important topic. Although seen sometimes in today’s media landscape, it’s fundamental to remember that these stories are not new. A trans* history of its own and within the broader queer movement has always existed. Jules Rosskam’s Desire Lines ties together histories and stories of gay transmen of different generations through encounters in an archival center in a non-conventional, semi-fictional narrative that tells and celebrates potent true stories of transmasculine experience.
