We are happy to welcome director Renata Ferraz at the Pornfilmfestival.

Rather a shared film creation than a traditional documentary, “Rua dos Anjos” portraits the exchange of knowledge between filmmaker Renata Ferraz and sex worker Maria Roxo. Ferraz wants to take a deep dive into the world of prostitution, while Roxo discovers an interest for directing. It is her story that is told after all. Their roles melt, complement, and support each other. Fantasies are explored and reenacted, the harsh reality of sex workers is revealed, the impudence of clients exposed. Tensions build up between the two women at times, but true respect and honesty break down every wall.
