A documentary journey, both investigative and autobiographical, through the rarely explored world of female ejaculation. On her way, director Julia Ostertag meets six protagonists from five countries who have dedicated their work to the topic – in film, literature, performance, activism and sex education. She takes part in practical and theoretical workshops in Rome, Berlin and Mexico, interviews Annie Sprinkle on Skype and learns about the female phallus. Her film offers new perspectives on female sexuality and is a sex-positive political herstory of female pleasure, weaving together archival footage, interviews and documentary material.
