Twisted path of love

The portrait of a disillusioned youth praised by critics and audience met the nerve of many young Japanese men in the turbulent time of student riots. Katsu returns home after five years of absence. He finds work there in a porno cinema, seeks consolation in the relationship with the wife of the cinema owner and often lives a brutal sexuality. Although some recognize him, he denies his own identity even before his mother – and in the end he reveals a dark mystery of his past.
