Because of the cinema closures in the past months, we had to cancel all of our scheduled monthly screenings. From July it will be possible again to visit Berlin’s cinemas, according to the current pandemic regulations.
Together with Kino Moviemento we decided to present all screenings that had to be cancelled in the week from July 5th to 11th, 2021. Like in the autumn we will open with Berlin episode film “Urban Smut”, in a special screening at Freiluftkino Kreuzberg. All other short film programs will be screened at Kino Moviemento. We hope to be able to welcome some of the filmmakers for the screenings. The two screenings in August and September are confirmed to run as (previously) scheduled.
The programs “Sex Work Porn Shorts” and “In Motion Porn Shorts” will be integrated into the programme of the 16th Pornfilmfestival Berlin that will take place from October 26th to 31st, 2021. All films of our 2020 retrospective “A Virus Knows No Morals – The AIDS Era in Cinema” tilms will be screened again during the festival week in October.
Online tickets for Freiluftkino Kreuzberg are already on sale at http://www.freiluftkino-kreuzberg.de/freiluftkino_kreuzberg_english.php and tickets for Kino Moviemento can be booked online from July 1st.
