With: Jayden Cheung, Erfan Shekarriz, Sebastian Mahito Soukup, Arm Anatphikorn, Zenni Corbin, Wang Ko Yuan, Philip Smith

A gay man walks through Hong Kong, encountering men whose stories he listens to and retells as his own. He’s single, or maybe not, an actor, or maybe not. Sometimes he’s Erfan, then Phil, then Dan. He loves slipping into roles – to escape the senselessness of life, and somehow come closer to it. The sounds of the city become music, cigarettes offer the hope of a slow death. The magic of languages weaves through a restless cycle of sex, desire, and loss of control. It begs the question: what kind of life is actually worth living?

Jun-Li tells a tender and raw story of loneliness, capturing the queer male zeitgeist with aching precision.
