This moving documentary sheds light on the unsolved murder of Venus Xtravaganza – one of the legendary icons from “Paris Is Burning”, the cult film about New York’s ballroom scene.

Thirty-five years after her death, both her biological and chosen families take center stage once again, fighting for justice and for the removal of her deadname from her gravestone. Through numerous interviews with new members of the House of Xtravaganza and previously unseen material from Paris Is Burning, the film traces a line from the 1980s to the present, celebrating the ballroom scene and honoring Venus’s legacy.
