In terms of sexual self-determination, body politics and non-binary gender identity, PEACHES has become an integral part of pop culture. With both old archive material and footage taken during the planning of her Teaches of Peaches Anniversary Tour 2022, the film offers a look behind the scenes of an artist who has been fighting against patriarchal structures in the music industry and common gender stereotypes and outdated body attributions for more than two decades. Balanced between intimate moments and driving stage performances, the film is a haunting movie experience and not just for Peaches fans.
