The second feature by Gerard Damiano, “The Devil in Miss Jones”, turns 50 this year! The rather dark subject matter revolves around celibate spinster Justine Jones, played by the magnificent Georgina Spelvin, who decides to commit suicide to escape her depressing life. Given one last chance to live out the life she never had, Justine goes on a very explicit quest for sexual fulfillment. While not as famous as Damiano’s previous film (“Deep Throat”), cinematically, the film is a huge leap forward, truly ushering in a Golden Age of Porn. Even Roger Ebert gave it a glowing review. We are proud to present its restored version.
