Since its foundation 28 years ago, the film studio Trimax has been known throughout Europe for its pornographic niche production. The level of popularity quickly increased over the years not only in Europe, but even reached a comparatively conservative country like Turkey. Sevket Şahin, the founder of Trimax GmbH, started an attempt to shoot his hardcore productions in Turkey with his German team in 1998. Thus, he presented the world’s first hardcore film produced in Turkey to his European customers. The Turkish production concept was in hot demand, which is why the hardcore label “Istanbul Life” was founded and, completely cast with Turkish actors, continued until 2008. Today, Istanbul Life’s diverse portfolio includes over 400 scenes.

We would like to find out more about Istanbul Life’s ten years of production and look forward to welcoming Sevket Şahin to the Pornfilmfestival this year.
