Director Ines Moldavsky asks American men to take off their clothes and answer her questions. These questions explore masculinity, sexuality and the vulnerabilities of her subjects. The director discusses the objectification of the naked men and she offers them to conduct their interviews also in the nude. In the course of the film she steps from behind her camera into the frame and thereby visually reduces the distance between interviewer and interviewee, which questions the hierarchical order between director and protagonists. The nudity creates an intimacy between everybody on set and not least due to the prudish American culture this creates interesting dynamics.
