A true Todd Verow film featuring all the marks of his DIY-filmmaking style, “Fucked In the Head” tells the story of a young gay man Scott and the relationship he has with his childhood hero and older sister Maggie (both played by David J. White). When Scott visits a terminally ill Maggie in the hospital back in his home of Maine, the two recount a youth of sex, drugs and drama in which Maggie looks after the troubled Scott but as time goes on, roles reverse. A gay, nostalgic coming-of-age story that is funny, touching and full of a surprising amount of heart.
