Emi gets summoned before a parent-teacher conference after a self-made sex tape of her and her husband surfaces online. A heated discussion begins between teacher and parents in which Emi is vilified for her sexual freedom and emancipation – they even blame her for the recent history of Romania. All of that in the midst of a worldwide pandemic!

This biting satire won the Golden Bear at the Berlin Film Festival 2021. Director Radu Jude shows the double standards of modern society and the everyday chaos of Bucharest. Throughout the film he takes us time traveling through the last decades of hypocrisy, misogyny and a fascination for fellatio.
