For the first time ever, the European Commission will officially participate in an event within the adult industry. <\/b>The Pornfilmfestival Berlin <\/b>(PFFB) is proud to announce that Eleonora Esposito<\/b>, Case-handler Officer at the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Communications Networks, Content, and Technology (DG CONNECT), will be joining the event. Eleonora Esposito <\/b>oversees the enforcement of the Digital Services Act (DSA) on very large online platforms within the adult industry and will be a panelist at the opening session<\/b> of the Adult Industry Only<\/b> (AIO) segment, which will focus on the future of the adult content sector and its intersection with policy, technology, and innovation<\/b>.<\/p>\n
The panel, titled Future of the Adult Sector: New Law, New Tech, New Voices<\/b> will take place on October 22nd, 2024, <\/b>at 12:00 CET <\/b>in the FORUM Factory<\/b> (Besselstra\u00dfe 13-14). Moderated by Paulita Pappel<\/b>, organiser of Pornfilmfestival Berlin<\/b>, the panel will feature key voices from across the industry. The European Commission will represent the regulatory perspective, while other panelists will ensure an inclusive and well-balanced discussion:<\/p>\n

Her contribution will highlight the Commission\u2019s proactive approach to digital innovation and regulatory frameworks.
